Recap of 2020 & What to Expect in 2021

Below is a snapshot of end of the year stats for Canyon County provided by the Nampa Association of REALTORS®

Also, according to the stats provided by the Boise Regional REALTORS® “On the last day of December 2020, there were just 333 homes available for sale, for both existing and new construction combined – 79.6% lower than December 2019 and a record low based on data going back to 2004. More inventory is needed to bring back balance into the market at all price points and product types.”

“In total, 11,728 homes sold in Ada County in 2020 – 5.2% more than in the previous year. The only other time we saw more sales in one year was in 2005 which had 11,974 sales.  This represents existing and new construction combined.”

In conclusion, the Treasure Valley continues to grow and with the stats provided above we believe it will remain a seller’s market in 2021.
