Are we going to experience 2008 all over again? Certainly not. In fact, Lawrence Yun, the chief economist for NAR, said, “Home sales continue to amaze, and there are plenty of buyers in the pipeline ready to enter the market…Further gains in sales are likely for the remainder of the year, with mortgage rates hovering around 3% and with continued job recovery.”
The change everyone is talking about now (and that will continue into the foreseeable future) is: • The perception that the real estate market is declining • Prices are too high • Inventory is extremely low • We’re going to experience 2008 all over again
It’s important to hire a realtor as they are someone who can: • Analyze all the available information • Connect the dots and let them know if now is a good time to buy or the right time to sell • Take the time to explain their options— simply and effectively It’s a big change…and it’s one you need to embrace to move forward.
